Honestly, I would try to block the homestuck tag. When you talk to him, bring up things other than homestuck, and remind him of the things you mutually like. Homestuck is just a craze, much like hetalia, naruto and bleach. It will die down soon enough. Just try to stick by his side. If he is clearly being an asshole about it, calmly confront him. Yelling, making insults, etc will just make it worse. As will attacking and insulting something he loves.
